When we got to Fredericton, we dropped Noah off and Jacques sister's house and we were off. Actually, Noah was pushing us out the door!
We went directly to Chapters where I was SO looking forward to some down time to read while sipping on a Starbucks - TOGETHER and ALONE! When we arrived, we realized that the store was celebrating their 10th anniversary and there was a *really* loud band playing. It was still very enjoyable but loud!
After about one and a half hours of reading, sipping, winking and relaxing, we went through the mall and shopped for a while. For nothing particular, other than some bath bombs (which apparently are NOT so popular anymore)! Didn't find any, but we found some bath 'pucks' that made the whirlpool water all milky and smelling fine at Yves Rocher - must get some more of these one day!
Once finished up at the mall, we went to a Mexican place (our favourite food next to Tex Mex).It was FANTASTIC. Yummy......

Jacques of course had a Corona....
And me - my usual: water!!!
Loved the decor, took photos of every plate we ordered (appetizer, main & dessert). The waiter was testing my Spanish, considering I've been practicing on "My Spanish Coach" on my DS. He was great....If you're in Fredericton and like Mexican food, this place is a must have!!!
Once back at our SUITE (which was smaller than I expected, but still very nice to sleep in a KING size bed), we went for a swim, hot tub and did a whole bunch of reading. It was SO relaxing to have down time - TOGETHER!
When we left Noah, Jacques told me that we could buy my Mother's Day present while we shopped - he told me that he was getting me an IPOD - YAY!!! I've waiting a long time for this....I opted to wait to order it online. I ordered it through the Air Miles website so I could get the (PRODUCT) red version, earn Air Miles AND get it laser engraved for FREE. I got the 16 GB version - so hopefully I'll never run out of space and have to have all our music between 3 MP3 players in our house!!!
Next steps....now I want a docking station to replace our old and VERY big stereo!!! Maybe my birthday or Christmas!
I am SO excited. Thank you SO much honey for the wonderful weekend and my early Mother's Day surprise!
So that's that....a wonderful weekend and something we're going to do MORE often!

Glad to hear you guys had a nice get away!! I so wish we could do this one day too!! With three little ones I think it's still years from reality!
