Last time, the Pink Panthers lost like 14-0 (actually, she said they stopped counting because the score was so high). She told us that the girls team has REALLY improved so they were hoping for a much better game.
Once Noah & I got there, it was 'just' starting to rain and was REALLY windy. We sat in the bleachers for about 15 minutes - but it was really cold and starting to rain much harder and I gave up sitting out side.

When I told Noah that I was going to go sit in the van (which was right on the side lines, so we could still see the game) - he said 'NO Mom, in support of Isabelle I'm going to 'tough it out' in the rain, she's my sister and we have to support her.' - so sweet!

He stood on those bleachers watching her play for a good 20 minutes. I couldn't believe his dedication to Isabelle and I must say, as much as I wanted to tell him to come in out of the rain but I wanted him to make his own choice. I was SO proud of him!
Finally, when the rain was coming down SIDE-WAYS he called it QUITS. He came over to the van. Once he walked closer, I just had to take a photo of his front & back to prove the rain falling sideways - and for memories!
Check out his pants....wet on his right side, but not his left!! LOL

Once in the van, we took a shot of ourselves - check out the rain on his glasses!!! He sat in the van for 10 or so minutes and decided to "tough it out" in support of his sister. This time he took my umbrella. I don't know WHAT I was thinking!!! That lasted all of 30 seconds with the wind!Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of the MANGLED umbrella once he was finished with it!
All in all, I think Isabelle was happy we were there - I know I was. A FIRST....the first time we got to watch her play soccer and MAN, she was pretty good. The final score was 4-1 for the boys and though they lost the game, they got a GOAL and worked their tushes off. I am SO proud of Isabelle for working so hard and not giving up in the rain (like I would have done)!!!
Way to GO, Isabelle!
But - my other comment/question is: I wonder how long this 'complete' dedication (with Noah) to his sister will last!!!
Either way....we had so much fun!
