Was the name of the game on Dec 28 at Noah's hockey practice!!!I 'thought' after all the company left (just that morning) and how tired I felt, I would NOT play....but that was until Noah told me he really wanted me to play (and the coach giving me EVERY excuse why I should play)! I'm a sucker for my kiddo, so what can I say - I played!
To my surprise, I absolutely LOVED it! I felt really comfortable on the ice (well, as best as you would expect for this mom who had NEVER played a game of hockey in my life). Jacques told me that I seemed to know what I was doing!
Jacques stood proudly in the stands cheering us "mom's" on cuz we sure did need it. He took lots of video and a few photos!
The kids (obviously) won and we didn't even "LET" them win...the final score was 7-5. Way to go boys!!!
At one point, while waiting for my turn to play, I felt a drip come from under my helmet. Eeeeeuuuuuw....I hate sweat!!! Once the game was finished and I took my helmet off....I confirmed my worst fears, my hair was dripping so much I had to 'ring' it out. EEEEEUUUUUOOOOO.
The long & short of it (despite the sweat) was we had a BLAST, the kids had a BLAST and I'm sure the dad's had a BLAST in the stands laughing at us!!!

it's been ages since I played hockey. The skating part is my downfall and that's fairly important I think...lol...I'll just have to hope my kid plays on a court and not an arena.
That is adorable! Noah must have had a blast.
