Some winter fun

Trying to get some 'out-door' time, it was a perfect night for a winter bonfire. The temperatures weren't too cold so we decided to have some winter fun. Jacques started to dig to find our fire pit. He dug and he dug and he dug at one point, we weren't sure we would find it.

We finally found it & got a good fire going. Noah invited a neighbourhood friend over and they got to roast some marshmallows. The boys ended up getting bored, so they went to dig a fort in the snow (that unfortunately I didn't get any photos of).

I didn't manage to get any 'good' photos - I was too scared to bring my good camera outside with fire & snow! The photos didn't turn out all that great - but at least we got some memories!

marshmallows - in the snow!

"My version" of a well roasted marshmallow.
The boys version of a well 'charred' marshmallow.
And the night came to an end....
it's fun putting a fire out with snow,
it made lots of smoke!
