So today, was his appointment for his new highlights.
Step 1 - he wasn't too overly impressed with this step. I lost count how many times he said 'ouch, owe, ouch' - we did have a great chuckle. I have him on video saying he would NEVER do this again because it 'hurt' too much!!!

Step 2 - the waiting game. Thankfully, I had my DS in my purse to keep him occupied for 15 minutes under the hair dryer. Look at THAT smile - he looks so happy and he was!

Step 3 - getting ready for the shampoo! SO in the end, we agreed on RED highlights rather than blue - with the help of the hair dresser! And LOOK just how red it looked once she took the cap off from under the dryer!
Step 4 - getting a trim. Check out the cute look on his face (through the mirror) - the hairs were tickling his nose!!!
Step 5 - the end result! Once he saw the end result, he decided that he wants to have it done again. As well, I have to admit - it feels 'right' to let Noah explore with who HE is meant to be!
THAT SAID, we did agree that if this is something he wants to have done on a regular basis - HE would have to earn some money to pay for 'most' of it and we would help him out. Now I just have to think about extra chores for him to do (over and above all that he already does) to earn money!

So on the way home, he thanked me over and over for letting him get food colour on his hair!!! LOL
