Hot Sexy Girls

Since Disney - Noah has been without a computer to use (partially because of his heated temper during & after our Disney trip). Loss of computer privileges was the consequence of this. A few weeks ago, Noah's teacher sent home a few links of educational websites for the kids to practice their math. So I decided that I would allow Noah to go on the computer for educational purposes only at this point!

On this particular first time he was allowed to use the computer, while I was took a shower. I opened only the tabs I would allow him to use (on my computer which he is usually NOT on and therefore there are NO parental controls on this system), trusting that he would not go anywhere else (he had NEVER given me reason to believe he would do this)

After my shower, I came to check on Noah. As I made it to the bottom of the steps, he QUICKLY jumped up and admitted he WAS on a site he was not allowed to be on. So, this naive MAMA believed he visited the Pokemon, or Club Penguin or another site like this.

A little later, before we were leaving to go to Jacques work (in Edmundston), I went to go on the computer to look up directions for somewhere we wanted to go. To my disappointed surprise, Noah had been on You Tube (a site we do NOT allow him to go on)....then to my shocking surprise he had typed "Hot Sexy Girls" and was in the middle of a video with just that.......

Needless to say, I was in complete and utter shock..... I immediately went upstairs to ask Noah some questions (which I had MANY to ask). The conversation was similar to this (it was several weeks ago now that this happened).

M: Noah, what site were you on?
N: *shrugging his shoulders* "Ummm, I can't remember"
M: Oh, I think you remember and I KNOW so please tell me.
N: I was on You Tube.
M: Oh, do you mean the You Tube that you are NOT allowed to go on?
N: Uh huh....
M: And what did you see on there?
N: Ummmmm "HOT SEXY GIRLS"
M: *trying to breath and trying to figure out what to say* and WHY.... WHAT...... HOW...... WHY Noah, WHY.....what did you see? What did you see Noah?
N: *while pointing to the chest area* he described that he saw big boobies that were in small bras and *pointing 'down there' & making a triangle with his 2 index fingers & 2 thumbs* he said he saw small panties with string (I'm assuming he meant a thong or that style panty)....
M: Oh, okay.....ummmm, well we're going to have to talk with Daddy about this AND you have now lost the computer for even longer. Mommy is REALLY disappointed that you would go to a site that you KNOW you are not allowed on.

I thought "OH LORD, please help me out...give me the grace I need right now" I called Jacques to fill him in. His main concern was 'Where on earth did he ever think to search 'Hot Sexy Girls'?' - something I had NEVER even thought of......hmmmm, SOOOOO where did he think to search for hot sexy girls.....?

On the drive to Edmundston, Noah opened up and confessed. I would have NEVER thought something SO simple would wreak such havoc in my heart.

It started with a boy named Lee at school. That week, he had told Noah that there was a girl that goes to school 'upstairs' (that means she is in Gr. 5 or up) that liked him. Lee was trying to describe this girl to Noah. He described her as "she had a yellow shirt and she is hot and sexy".

Now, how this translates is Noah understands that I have videos on You Tube with him in them. So HE thought if he looked for HOT SEXY GIRLS....he would look for the girl in the yellow shirt and find who LEE was talking about! The poor guy got more than he bargained for once he searched for HOT SEXY GIRLS....and I'm pretty sure he thinks girls are yuckier now than ever!! THANKFULLY for now, he thinks they are yucky!!!

NOW, all our computers are LOCKED DOWN with high level parental blocks....etc. I guess 'that talk' may not be too far off....YIKES. Do you know any books that may help us figure out how on earth we will discuss this topic? Because personally, it makes me want to puke thinking about talking to Noah about the birds and the bees!!! LOL
