We are so thankful (looking at the weather today) for a safe and uneventful drive to our March Break vacation destination - Ottawa (actually, Gatineau) to visit Jacques sister Lise! We decided to leave a day early considering the weather we were going to receive - which turned out to be a smart move! We woke up this morning (in Gatineau) to a lovely THICK blanket of white snow and it is still coming down quite hard.
Noah & I left from Moncton around 12:30 pm (actually we left a few minutes earlier, but before we even made it to Salisbury I had to pull over twice to rectify some technical difficulties with the DVD player for Noah) and arrived at Jacques work at 4:30pm. We picked Jacques up and stopped at Tim's for the usual and hit the road. We had so much fun with all of our electronics, Jacques with his GPS, Noah with his DVD & DS and I with my new DS and MP3. The drive went fast - we had great chats (something we don't get too much of these days) and most appreciated TOGETHER time!
Poor Lise had to go to work this morning so we are just hanging out - playing with all of our electronics still (Jacques with my PINK DS, Noah with the boys Guitar Hero and I with Jacques laptop)....what a LIFE.
We are so blessed! Thankful for every together moment of our March Break vacation - snow and all!

Glad to hear you got there safe. I wasn't worried about you getting lost due to Jacques' new toy, just about the weather!
