It was such an exciting day around here....
As an anniversary gift to each other (July 1) this year, we started sponsoring a little girl (9 years old) from Guatemala through World Vision. Her name is Claudia. She is the most precious little girl you've ever seen. Look at that beautiful face.....(see original post)....filled with such sweetness and innocence.
A few weeks ago, I sent Claudia a letter that told her a little about our family as well as a photo and some cutzie-girlie stickers! Realizing the length it takes to send International mail, I figured it would be weeks before I would receive any correspondence "back" from her.
To my surprise, we received some correspondence today. We received a letter from her mother thanking us for the sponsorship and a picture (hand drawn) from Claudia. WHAAAAAAH!
When I told Noah what we received, I'm not sure who was more excited. He kept saying "Mommy, let me see, let me see, Mommy"! I CRIED - I was so excited. This is such a COOL feeling! Noah the whole time was screeching with excitement in the back of the car while looking at the drawing....now he wants to send her a letter back to Claudia!
God has blessed us with such a beautiful day.
