I can't believe I forgot to say 'Happy Anniversary' to Jacques before he left this morning. I had been thinking about it all week - I wasn't going to forget it this year. HE is always the one who remembers this significant day EVERY YEAR and he didn't even mention anything (yet)! I'm not too surprised because after all it is only 4:45 AM! I am so thankful that on this day (in 2000) Jacques asked me to be his wife. So far, this has been the one & only TRUE surprise he has ever kept from me (and probably ever will). HE loves secrets & surprises but just can't help but share them with me (and most of the time early)!

So when you read this honey....HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Thank you for choosing ME to be the lucky one! I LOVE our life together and hope you have a wonderful day!

There are so many more things I'd like to give thanks to today:

• Noah - who will most certainly have a better day than he did yesterday (hard life lessons)
• the extra day with Jacques
• no snow today
• receiving my new book in the mail yesterday (check it out on Oprah)
• a co-worker who spread her wealth with me (something Noah will LOVE)
• home made pizza night tonight with my boy
• the opportunity to stay home and take care of my family
• a nice warm bed to sleep in last night
• my 'lap' dog - Mimi (everywhere I go - she has to be on my lap)
• homemade spaghetti last night with my family
• the ability to shovel all the snow that fell yesterday
• a good camera (something I had always dreamed of) with my new lens
• my girlfriend at work Sandra - we work great together and I will miss her dearly when we move
• all the time in the world at work - to listen to my MP3
• music - makes me feel happy

Okay, okay - it's now 5:07am and I have to get on the treadmill (or I won't have enough time to watch Oprah from last night and I don't want to miss NATE - okay so you have to be an Oprah fan to know who Nate is!!)

I LOVE life!!!
