Well our Spring Break for the year is all done.
We packed the ole van up and went on a road trip.
We started off with 3 days in Niagara Falls, including one of our favourite spots: Great Wolf Lodge where we met up with my bestest friend from grade school and her hubby and son!
We had a blast! We've already decided that this is going to be a yearly event - Niagara Falls with the two families. We also have a couple of other side weekend trips planned once we move! Can't wait!
On our way down to the water park at Great Wolf Lodge, Jacques thought he would try to impress the ladies with his EVER so sexy outfit! Luckily for me, it didn't work and he's all mine!!!

The next morning, before we dove into the breakfast buffet (and the best darned buffet I've EVER had) Noah took one last trip to the water park!
After checking out of Great Wolf Lodge, we headed to our next hotel (that we couldn't get checked into yet) so we left our bags and went to do some touristy things downtown Niagara Falls!
Looking at this photo (below), I only wish Jacques would get a handle on his drinking!!!
Completely kidding!!!
When we went to try to get checked into AGAIN, the rooms were STILL not ready :(
So Stacey and I decided to do something we haven't done in a long time - we went to do a shooter.
WHAT...I have no idea what we were thinking, considering it's probably been 15 years since we last did this togeher. But we had the bartender laughing, considering we asked for something in a shot glass that tasted something like a fruit juice, because we couldn't handle shots now!!!
We laughed so hard!
Then, when Noah walked in and saw me have a drink, he annouced (ever so loudly)
"MOM, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? YOU DON'T DRINK!"
THAT, just made it even more funny (because it's the complete truth)!
After a fantastic supper at the KEG, overlooking the falls, the big boys went to the Casino and the mom's and the little boys went to the arcade.
I love the view at night on Clifton Hill, it's just like a mini Vegas!!!
After we left Niagara Falls (on the Sunday), we trucked Jacques to Toronto then I drove to Drayton (north of Guelph) to visit with my cousin and her family!
On their letter board, Noah proudly spelled the longest word in the English language!!!
So glad I home school, so that I could include this in the curriculum!!! lol
All her 4 boys were sick, and Noah loved the cuddle time with his cousins!
So spring break is over with for this year, now we look forward to SUMMER!!!
We had a great time visiting family (unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of my sister and her family) and I look forward to going back at the end of March to spend some more time with them!
