....was the scripture this past weekend at church.
Somehow (despite not knowing all the words verbatim) I can't stop reciting small parts of this passage and what this passage means to me.
Psalm 121
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
The past few weeks have been....ummmm....challenging to say the least!!! And this passage is just reminding me to trust in God. Trust, that he will watch over me. Trust, that he will give me the strength and patience I need right now. Trust, that he watches over me and guides me to make the right decisions.
So as I continue to think of this passage, I am feeling like THIS is my reminder that God is the one who is really in control here and that I just have to follow his lead.
And.....this is exactly what I will do.

Isn't it amazing how we get these *reminders*?
Only one more full week until the start of school!
That is a wonderfully familiar passage of scripture. Letting it be your guide and a source of strength during this challenging time in your life is the best choice you could make - God will not let you down!
