Jacques...my wonderful husband.

How do I even begin with a relationship that is so deep? My husband......my one and only.....my true love.....this IS what love is. Thank you for sharing my life with me.

As a child I dreamed (probably too often) of what true love would feel like. Although I had fooled myself into believing I had found true love a few times, I KNEW it was 'as real as real gets' the first time I looked into your eyes. I often ask myself "how did I ever find someone so patient and true"? You ARE the best thing that has ever happened in my life. Thank you for finding me and believing in me. Thank you for working so hard and being such loyal provider for our family. Thank you for being the "fun" parent as well as being so dedicated to Noah. Without you, we wouldn't be where we are today.

Do you remember the story of the song, who it was for and who wrote it? It was the obvious choice that THIS would be our wedding song, eh?

The memories we've made & shared together over the past 9 years have been truly amazing. We've had some good years, some great years and even some rough spots - but what marriage hasn't? Through it all, through all of these tests we've grown stronger and more in love than I ever imagined possible with any one person. I used to fear this feeling of dependency to another person but now it makes me feel proud & makes me realize every day that this is what marriage is. I mean, let's face it I didn't exactly have very good 'marriage role models' in my childhood!

Here we are today, living though one of the toughest patches in our marriage yet I still feel a world of thanks for doing what you are doing. I know it can't be easy for you being away from us for so long. Too often, through the last several months I get caught up in my world and forget about how you must be feeling. I'm sorry and thank you for all that you do! You are my pillar of strength through all rough times in our life...but please, let me be that for you even if only for a moment.
